ok so for doing good in school and having high test scores i decided to reward myself with a tattoo ... my mom thinks that im crazy cause i got my 1st tattoo in April and now i want another one
ok so its between stars and wings
im in a GED prep classes i have 2 more levels before taking the test so though that if i will get one star one i will add one more every time i will pass to the next class to have it as an encouragement or something
and those stars would be on the outside of my left forearm
as for the wings those aren't the ones on the back i feel like its a bit too obvious and i want something different so i have this idea of the Hermes wings they will start on my ankles and i don't want em big maybe like 7 inches max. as of now i cannot get them cause:
1. i don't have enough money i have like 140$
2. i twisted my ankle last night and i have the right leg in a cast and i have to wait 8 week for it to come off
it sucks especially now since the weather is getting hotter
the tattoo that i have now is of a phoenix and its on my leg and foot i cannot get anything on my uppers arms/shoulder and upper back area as i have a skin condition that prevents me from getting tattooed there
the wings for me are kinda a symbol of independence and freedom as for the stars there isn't anything uber special about them i just like how they look
so stars or wings ??? im really buying the wing idea it seems a bit more original then the stars
and please if your gonna write something like ';don't get any cause what about when your 60 and wrinkly ';cause i have heard that many many times and we all be old and wrinkly one day so that doesnt bother me at allTEENs: body modification , tattoos, piercings etc... i need some advice in here?
I really like the star idea, I think its a really cool reward system type thing. I honestly really don't like the wing idea, I can't really imagine it so that might be why. But I'm sure what ever you get will look rad.
But you're not crazy, tattoos are addicting. I got my first one in march and now I have 4 and I'm only 16.
The final decision is up to you, pick the tattoo that you like the best and will enjoy having for the rest of you life.TEENs: body modification , tattoos, piercings etc... i need some advice in here?
haha i think both are pretty righteous but i think the wings sound really cool and more original/unique.
And honestly dude, go for the tattoo no matter what any one says. if you feel passionate about it then don't listen when people say you'll get wrinkly haha.
Many places require you to cover your tattoos. If you have to get one then put it some place that can be easily covered. All things being equal a tattoo can make the difference in a job application or college acceptance.
you know what, do it. dont worry about what other people think and do what you want. live your life and dont let anyone stop you from doing it. i think i like stars better though.
You are exactly right...the wings are way more original than stars. Get those.
listen to your mom don't do it besides I bet you could think of better things to spend money on and be just as happy
The star thing is a cute idea.
ur right
Since you're asking for opinions, I think *not* getting any kind of work done is more original nowadays. It seems kinda silly that you'd reward yourself with a 'gold star'.
Why not get something you can use for college?
Just for future reference, if you do decide to go with the tattoo, I've seen many many people passed up for different jobs and positions simply because the owner or manager didn't like the way their tattoos looked. The people involved were usually perfectly amiable, its just that first impression was the lasting one.
Well i would go for the stars bcuz i have some they are colored stars i have 11 of them and they symbolize me being independent and growing and leaving my mother's house. But i thnk u should go for the stars they are painful the ones i got but it was all worth it evendough my mother got mad and didnt speak to me for wks...
don't do it. there is no point it. people find tatoos unattractive in women. especially the arm! why do it. you think it's an award? will you get one after college? promotions? your wedding? for your baby(ies)? every good thing that you've worked for? it's pointless. sorry.
good luck and God bless!
